Activities within LEADing by Strategic Partnership are YPB efforts to support the implementation of sustainable development in order to be more developed and to reach more parties so as to give broader benefits. Through the supports that encourage the collaboration among relevant institutions that will provide access for experts and the sources of finance.

YPB believes that the synergy among institutions based on their each strength will lead into more efficient effects. It is expected that this will enable each party to provide its best for joint settlement to solve problems.

Some of activities implemented under the Strategic Partnership are:

• A project on Conserving Coral Reefs for Community Ownership and Enterprise in collaboration with Marine Aquarium Council, Lembaga Pilang, Reef Check Indonesia and Conservation and Community Investment Forum. Supported by Darwin Initiatives.
• Rural Electrification for Palanggaran Village, West Java, for community development and national park conservation, a collaboration with LEAD International, IBEKA, community of Palanggaran village, and LEAD Indonesia. Supported by LEAD International.
• Mobile Water Treatment Unit, a clean water program for victims of tsunami in Aceh, in collaboration with Envitech Perkasa, Schneider Electric, and Tsunami Recovery Indonesia. Eco Village: The Future of Lamreh, Aceh, a community planning document of Lamreh community, supported by LEAD International, SALAM, and LEAD Indonesia.

In the future, YPB will encourage more collaboration with various institutions, including with business groups to be involved in YPB’s activities.
